Description

The MT assembly family covers passive optical interconnect components built on the MT ferrule for QSFP, SFP+ active optical cables, parallel optical transceiver modules, and embedded silicon photonics. The simple structure makes it easy to locate, keeps cost low, and supports fully customized builds. DYS produces several MT component configurations within this family:

  • MT Components — MT ferrule with guide pin to customized jumper/lens (Usconect Prizm/Lensed MT); 2F/4F/8F/12F/16F/24F ribbon; supports 200G (8×25G) and 400G (8×50G); passive coupling with guide pins at 0°/8°/10° or active coupling with light source at 0–45°.
  • FA-MT Components — MT ferrule with guide pin to FA interface (customized size/angle); 12F ribbon or single fibers; supports 40G (4×10G) and 100G (4×25G).
  • MPO-MT Components — MPO to MT ferrule for optical modules, optical FPGA, and silicon photonic chips on PCB; 12F/24F ribbon; supports 40G (4×10G), 100G (4×25G), and 100G (10×10G); passive coupling with guide pins at 0°/8°.
  • Jumper Components — MT ferrule with guide pin to customized jumper/lens; 2F–24F ribbon; supports 200G (8×25G) and 400G (8×50G).
  • MT-MT AOC Jumper — MT ferrule to MT ferrule round cable; 8F/12F/16F/24F; supports 40G up to 800G (8×100G); Φ3.0mm/Φ3.6mm cable in LSZH/OFNR/OFNP; cable lengths from 1M to 100M.

All component families are GR-1435 and GR-1221 compliant, use multi-channel serial and parallel transmission, and offer high accuracy.
