Description

The PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter is a planar-waveguide integrated optical device that distributes optical power uniformly across the wide 1260–1650 nm wavelength range. This range covers the 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths used by EPON, making the device especially suitable for EPON passive optical network access in FTTP fiber systems and broadband passive optical splitter (POS) applications. It is supplied in mini, ABS box, cassette and rack-mount packaging.
