02. Dear Leaders and Colleagues
Hello everyone. I am Zhan Mijun, an engineering clerk from the Engineering Department. It has been more than eight months since I joined the company in December 2024. Since I joined, I sincerely appreciate the care and trust from the company's leaders, as well as the support and help from my colleagues in work.
As a new employee who switched industries to join the company, I was once confused and helpless when I first took up the post, facing the unfamiliar professional field and work content. I went through the most difficult stage in my career, and even fell into self-doubt and lack of confidence many times. However, it was during this difficult period that leaders and colleagues from various departments showed me full understanding and great tolerance when I first joined the post. I deeply felt the warmth and strength from the company, which is like a big family.
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank my boss, Roy. When I made a mistake in work that caused losses to the company, I thought I would be criticized or even punished. But he did not blame me; instead, he chose to understand and tolerate me. This made me deeply feel your vision and grace as a leader, and also made me reflect on my shortcomings more seriously.
At the same time, I would like to thank my direct supervisor, Zhang Xun. During the period when I first joined the post and was not familiar with the business, he never criticized me for my mistakes. Instead, he always guided me to grow step by step like a mentor. Every time I made a mistake, he would patiently analyze the root cause of the problem and teach me how to improve; every time I was confused, he would give me clear guidance instead of simple criticism. His tolerance and professionalism allowed me to maintain confidence even in the most confused stage, and gradually master the working methods. I once doubted whether I was competent for this job many times, but it was his firm support and systematic training that helped me move from being unskilled to proficient, and finally gain a firm foothold in my career path.
Secondly, I would like to thank the leaders and colleagues of various departments for their full understanding and great tolerance when I first joined the post. Since I am responsible for the establishment of BOM (Bill of Materials), which is the source of the entire business process, it was inevitable that I had deficiencies in operation and understanding in the early stage, and some problems also occurred. During this process, it was everyone who took the initiative to help me check problems, correct mistakes in a timely manner, and patiently guide me to continuously optimize my working methods. This enabled me to gradually straighten out the workflow and improve my capabilities. It is precisely because of their selfless help that I can continue to grow and gradually become competent for my current job responsibilities. I am deeply grateful for this and will continue to devote myself to future work with a more rigorous attitude.
