BOM Engineer

job responsibilities
1. Participate in feasibility research for product project initiation, review design drawings, and participate in system scheme design;
2. Develop structural design schemes and project plans, research and develop new product structures and technologies, and improve product performance and quality;
3. Undertake product structure design, including material selection of product components, drawing production, etc;
4. Undertake product hardware, sheet metal, plastic parts sampling and related technical follow-up;
5. Responsible for the first sample assembly of new products and the first actual installation after product modification;
6. Responsible for product pre mold evaluation, trial mold review, trial production, acceptance, final recognition of design changes and parts, as well as follow-up on mold modifications;
7. Solve problems in product development, continuously optimize problem tracking, and reduce costs by improving design solutions, materials, and increasing the universality of parts;
8. Responsible for collecting project design data, tracking problems that arise in the design plan, developing improvement plans, and summarizing them;
9. Responsible for project management and control;
10. Lead the company's product patent design, project approval, application, and follow-up.
11. Obey other tasks arranged by superiors temporarily.
Job requirements:
1. College degree or above, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
2. Mechanical or communication related majors; Proficient in using 3D design software such as Solidworks, PRO/E, UG, etc; Proficient in using CAD to create engineering drawings, with experience in mechanical and structural design;
3. Familiar with the performance and plastic characteristics of injection molded products, as well as the structure and processing technology of plastic, hardware, and sheet metal molds;
4. Familiar with the new product development process, with R&D experience and strong hands-on ability;
5. Able to independently complete overall product design, structural design, and sheet metal design;
Diligent in work, responsible, with good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. "

Job Responsibilities:
1. BOM editing for jumper department;
2. BOM editing for the optical cable department;
3. Product code filing, maintenance and management;
4. EBOM editing, continuous updates;
5. ECN change notice;
6. PCN change notice;
7. ECR change notice;
8. Trial production of new products and continuous follow-up of materials;
9. Obey other tasks arranged by superiors temporarily.
Job requirements:
1. College degree or above, with priority given to majors in electronics, machinery, communication, or related fields.
2. More than 2 years of BOM management or related work experience, with experience in jumper and fiber optic cable departments preferred. Familiar with BOM editing process, knowledge of the optical communication industry is preferred.
3. Proficient in using ERP systems and related office software.
4. Possess strong logical thinking ability, able to quickly identify and solve problems. Familiar with ECN, PCN, ECR and other change processes, able to efficiently handle change transactions.
5. Work diligently and meticulously, possess strong sense of responsibility and ability to withstand pressure.
6. Possess good communication skills and teamwork spirit
